City Council

The City Council is scheduled to meet 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in the City Council chamber, 1666 N. The Nov. 3 meeting has been canceled due to the state's special election that day. Regular council meetings are televised live on Comcast Cable Channel 28 in most of the city, and on Channel 26 in Rossmoor and unincorporated areas, as well as on Astound Cable Channel 29. Regular meetings are rebroadcast at 1 p.m. the following Saturday on Astound Channel 29 and at 1 p.m. the following Sunday on Comcast Cable Channel 28 and 26. Planning Commission

The Planning Commission routinely meets the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. But for October the schedule is a little different. The next meeting is 7 tonight in the City Council chamber, 1666 N. Main St. The commission will consider an amended conditional use permit for eating, drinking and live entertainment at the 1251 Lounge on Arroyo Way.
