The City Council's next regular meeting will be Tuesday, May 7 in the City Council chamber, 1666 N. Main St. The council will continue its discussion on fiscal sustainability, focusing on programs arts, recreation and open space classes and camps. The council is also set to hold a special all-day meeting April 27 to discuss fiscal issues regarding libraries, schools, nonprofits and other agency support. The Planning Commission routinely meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. April 25 in the City Council chamber, 1666 N. Main St. The commission will hold a public hearing on the request from the Church of Christ to subdivide 2.1 acres for a seven-lot subdivision at 500 Minert Road.
