WALNUT CREEK -- Halloween was all tricks and no treats for one woman after she was robbed in the Macy's parking lot Thursday night.

Around 9:15 p.m., the woman was walking to her car, parked on the lower level of the Macy's Women's parking garage in Broadway Plaza, when she was approached by a man, according to Walnut Creek police.

The man grabbed the woman's purse and knocked her to the ground. The suspect then ran to a gray, four-door sedan, driven by another man, and drove off.

The car was last seen heading south on Newell Avenue. No other suspect details were available.

The woman suffered minor injuries from being pushed to the ground but was not seriously hurt.
