WALNUT CREEK -- A man robbed a Walnut Creek credit union Monday, police said.
The robbery occurred at 10:30 a.m. at Provident Credit Union, 742 Bancroft Road, according to Walnut Creek police Sgt. Tom Cashion. Officers arrived within minutes, searched the area with a police dog but did not find the suspect.
The man is described as Hispanic, in his mid-20s, with a medium build. He wore a gray baseball hat with a red bill, aviator-style sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black and white shorts and black socks and shoes.
Police did not say how much money was taken. No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was injured.
