9U-10U Division

On July 13, the Walnut Creek Continental won the Northern California championship with an 8-3 victory over Chico.

Hannah Parkus pitched five innings and Bianca Venegas closed the door in the sixth and final inning. Audrey Carlos (2 for 3, BB, 3 R, 3 RBIs) led the offense and also turned in stellar defense at shortstop en route to being named MVP of the game.

In the semifinals, Walnut Creek faced the same Chico team and narrowly won 8-7. In the sixth inning, the Walnut Creek rallied for three runs and tied the game before Hannah Parkus plated Bianca Venegas for the game winning run. Parkus (4 IP) and Venegas (2 IP) shared pitching duties, and Parkus was named MVP.

The team consists of: Bella Arietta, Regan Brumfield, Meikaylah LeBeaux, Kacey Lindeman, Claire O'Connor, Logan Pascoe, Hannah Parkus, Riley Martin, Bianca Venegas, Sophia Vizinau, Lindsay Walton, Jane Wilson, Manager Karey Venegas, and coaches Ben Venegas and Paul Parkus.
