This is the 12th annual fundraising March-A-Thon the band has had. It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon. Walnut Creek's only marching band will parade from Northgate High School to Quiet Place Drive, Springfield and Meander, and streets in between.

Proceeds benefit the entire instrumental music program at Northgate, which includes over 160 students in Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band I & II, Marching Band and Auxiliary.
