WARRIORS AT PHOENIX

Tipoff: 7 p.m. at US Airways Center.

TV/Radio: CSNBA/680.

Suns update: Phoenix went 33-33 last season, finishing 10th in the Western Conference, three games out of a postseason berth. The Suns lost their biggest star, two-time league MVP Steve Nash, to free agency. And they lost center Channing Frye for the season because of an enlarged heart. The Suns do return their two leading scorers from last season: Marcin Gortat (15.4 points per game) and Jared Dudley (12.7). Goran Dragic has the unenviable task of replacing Nash at point guard, though he appeared to be up to the task late last season. The Suns hope forward Michael Beasley, a free-agent acquisition, can live up to the potential that made him the No. 2 pick in the 2008 NBA draft.

Suns injuries: C Channing Frye (heart) is out.

Warriors injuries: C Andrew Bogut (ankle) is questionable.
