The Warriors' Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes and NBA Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers have been selected to participate in Team USA's minicamp in Las Vegas in July.

The camp, scheduled for July 22-25, is for Team USA officials to get a good look at the promising young NBA players.

"This is an important opportunity for each one of them because we will be evaluating which players will continue to be involved in future USA National Team training camps and teams," USA Basketball Chairman Jerry Colangelo said.

Thompson was part of the select team that practiced against the national squad in advance of the 2012 London Olympics. Barnes, named first-team All-Rookie, shined under the bright lights of the NBA playoffs to emerge as one of the league's top young talents.

They will be coached by Mike Krzyzewski and his assistants Jim Boeheim, Monty Williams and Tom Thibodeau.

The top players among Wednesday's 27 selections were All-Stars Kyrie Irving (Cleveland), Paul George (Indiana) and Jrue Holiday (Philadelphia).

Also chosen were: Mike Conley (Memphis), Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson (New Orleans), Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried (Denver), John Wall and Bradley Beal (Washington), DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento), DeMar DeRozan (Toronto), Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond (Detroit), Derrick Favors and Gordon Hayward (Utah), Taj Gibson (Chicago), DeAndre Jordan (Los Angeles Clippers), Kawhi Leonard (San Antonio), Chandler Parsons (Houston), Larry Sanders (Milwaukee), Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller (Cleveland) and Kemba Walker (Charlotte).
