  • TRAIL BLAZERS UPDATE: Second-year guard Brandon Roy suffered a bruised tailbone during Portland's double-overtime win against Chicago on Thursday and is a game-time decision. Roy, whose breakout season might take him all the way to the All-Star Game, sat out Monday's practice but did some drill work Tuesday and told the Oregonian that, "I think I should be able to go (tonight). ... I started to do some moves, and I felt (pain), but it wasn't like it was stopping me from doing what I wanted to do." ... With a 13-game winning streak in December, Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan easily wrapped up the Western Conference Coach of the Month Award. Roy, despite averaging 21.2 points, 6.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds during the month, was beaten out for Player of the Month honors by New Orleans' Chris Paul.
