FRESNO -- Police say a 40-year-old man was found dead in a vehicle in Southern California, and when officers tried to find the registered owner at a Fresno apartment they found his wife dead inside.
Fresno police Lt. Mark Salazar told the Fresno Bee (bit.ly/1bqrlhG) the woman in her 40s was found Monday, but it was not clear how she died or how long she had been dead.
About an hour earlier and about 250 miles to the south in Montclair, Calif., police there found the man dead from what looked like a possible suicide.
Police in both cities told the Bee that causes and the rest of the circumstances behind the deaths remain under investigation. Neither person's names have been released.
