Meet Nina Flowers, a gorgeous 2-year-old cat who has been waiting for her forever home since July 4. The stress of living in a shelter has hardly ruffled her feathers; she is friendly, affectionate, and playful. Her absolute favorite thing to play with is a fishing rod with a nice catnip ball at the end. Speaking of catnip ... that's another of her favorite things. Give her a little catnip and she will be purring and rolling around like a kitten. She is very curious and enjoys observing whats going on around her. Ms. Flowers is not a fan of other female cats but could probably live comfortably with a male cat given a proper introduction.

To meet her stop by during adoption hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays at the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society 2700 Ninth St. For more details email cats@berkeleyhumane.org or call 510-845-3633, ext. 14
