FRIDAY, OCT. 26
HATE CRIME -- Someone reportedly painted profanity and swastikas on the sidewalk, the victim's garage door and in front of a neighbor's home in the 5600 block of Ludwig Avenue. POSSESSION -- Police arrested a San Pablo man, 32, for possession of methamphetamine following a routine traffic stop at Cutting Boulevard and Peerless Avenue.SATURDAY, OCT. 27
DUI -- Police pulled over two motorists on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, including a Berkeley male adolescent, 17, at Carlson Boulevard and Central Avenue and an Antioch man, 32, at Central and San Pablo avenues. DRUGS -- Police responded to a call about four men who were reportedly dragging another man near Eureka Avenue and Liberty Street. When the arrived, officers suspected a Richmond man, 19, of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect started fighting with officers, who arrested and took him to the Martinez Detention Facility.SUNDAY, OCT. 28
COMMERCIAL CRIME -- An Oakland man, 30, was arrested after he tried to exchange stolen merchandise at The Avenue at 170 El Cerrito Plaza.-- Jennifer Shaw
