Diablo Ballet kicks off its 19th season this weekend with a lively program featuring the world premiere of Broadway choreographer (and Marin native) Sean Kelly's "A Swingin' Holiday," backed by a 16-piece swing band.

Also on the program is the California premiere of a work by Ballet Nacional de Caracas choreographer Vicente Nebrada, and "The Moor's Pavane," by famed choreographer Jose Limon.

Performances are 8 p.m. Nov. 16 and 2 and 8 p.m. Nov. 17 at Lesher Center for the Arts, 1601 Civic Drive, Walnut Creek.
