  • DUI -- Police arrested three motorists on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol: a San Pablo man, 34, at Key Boulevard and Knott Avenue; an El Cerrito man, 31, at Manila and San Pablo avenues; and a Richmond man, 57, at Portola and San Pablo avenues.

  • THEFT -- Two male juveniles reportedly stole an iPhone from the AT&T store at 4010 El Cerrito Plaza. One of the suspects was seen swiping it from a display case, while the other distracted an employee. The suspects fled the scene.

    SATURDAY, FEB. 9

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A resident of a home in the 6300 block of Barrett Avenue notified police that roughly a month earlier, someone had broken the rear glass pane door but had not stolen any items from the house.

  • WEAPON -- Police arrested a Richmond boy, 17, after finding a .22-caliber, sawed-off rifle in a vehicle that he had been driving and had abandoned near San Luis and Van Fleet avenues. Before his arrest, the suspect had led police on a short vehicle chase after an attempted traffic enforcement stop near Avila Street and Carlson Boulevard. He was located an hour later walking near Portola and San Pablo avenues.

  • DUI -- A Richmond female motorist, 38, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol near Cutting Boulevard and Peerless Avenue.

    MONDAY, FEB. 11

  • ROBBERY -- A man wearing a black ski mask pointed a gun at a man and ordered him to empty his pockets near Cutting Boulevard and San Pablo Avenue. The victim complied, handing over a cell phone and cash. The suspect fled the scene.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone broke a window of a Toyota Tacoma parked in El Cerrito Plaza and stole clothing and a laptop. Nothing was reported missing from a Dodge Caliber that was parked in the plaza lot, but the culprit had broken a window and rifled through its interior.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone entered and ransacked a home's interior in the 6200 block of Jordan Avenue, stealing cash and cameras.

    WEDNESDAY, FEB. 13

  • ATTEMPTED THEFT -- A school resource officer detained a male teen, 14, after he was spotted leaving the backyard of a home in the 500 block of Norvell Street, where he had reportedly attempted to kick in the rear door. The suspect was then taken to juvenile hall.

  • DUI -- Police arrested a Menifee, Calif., male motorist, 30, for driving under the influence of alcohol near Kearney Street and Knott Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTOS -- Someone smashed a window on a Subaru Forester that was parked in the Nation's lot in the 6000 block of Central Avenue and stole two pieces of luggage. Someone shattered a window on a Mini Cooper parked at El Cerrito Plaza and stole two backpacks.
