Seth MacFarlane said he won't host the Oscars again after all.

After saying he wouldn't host again, then producers saying they wanted him to, MacFarlane now says he doesn't have the time, according to the Hollywood reporter.

"Traumatized critics exhale: I'm unable to do the Oscars again," MacFarlane tweeted Monday. "Tried to make it work schedule-wise, but I need sleep."

MacFarlane praised producers, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, both of whom defended his widely-criticized performance at February's 85th Academy Awards, which featured plenty of political incorrectness

"However, I highly recommend the job, as Zadan and Meron are two of the most talented producers in the business," the Family Guy creator said of the pair, who will produce next year's telecast.

Despite saying just days after this year's Oscars that he wouldn't host again, MacFarlane was rumored to be considering coming back.

MacFarlane has his own idea on his successor.

"My suggestion for host is Joaquin Phoenix," he joked.
