CROCKETT -- Contra Costa County Supervisor Federal Glover will attend a quarterly breakfast Thursday hosted by the Crockett Improvement Association. The event is open to the public.
Glover plans to introduce the new C&H Sugar Co. refinery manager, Derwood Brady, and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Bay Station commander, Lt. Jon Moreland, as well as a new resident deputy for the Crockett area.
County staff members will present information on the Northern Waterfront Economic Development Initiative, and along with Glover, answer questions from residents, said CIA President Kent Peterson.
The event will be at 8:30 a.m. at the Crockett Community Center auditorium, 850 Pomona St.
All attendees will be served a continental breakfast of fruit juice and pastries, coffee or tea, and donations to defray costs are welcome, Peterson said.
