PINOLE -- A full day of activities, entertainment and food will be offered at the second annual Pinole Spring Festival from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Fernandez Park, 595 Tennent Ave. in Old Town. Admission is free.

The event, a benefit for Pinole Community Television, will feature live music by the Jun Simundo Band and Harvey and the Wallbangers; a 1:30 p.m. pet parade; community performances and food, craft and business vendor booths. Early risers can get a start on the day at the pancake breakfast at the Pinole Senior Center, 2500 Charles Ave.
