RICHMOND -- A San Francisco-based food truck company that caters to four-legged clientele will launch an 'Off the Grid' food truck event in the East Bay this weekend.
Milo's Kitchen Treat Truck will set up shop from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at San Francisco's Marina Green Park. Then, starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, it will rumble over to Point Isabel Dog Park in Richmond, according to a spokeswoman.
Pet owners can also take a "doggy selfie" in a photo booth, according to a news release.
The truck treats will be free to the public, and will include 100 percent chicken and beef home-style dog treats like Chicken Meatballs and Grilled Burger Bites.
There will also be another "surprise" stop elsewhere in Richmond that will be posted on Milo's Twitter page at twitter.com/miloskitchen.
The truck has tour stops scheduled later this summer in San Diego, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and New York City.
Milo's Kitchen is a brand of San Francisco-based Big Heart Pet Brands, the largest stand-alone producer, distributor and marketer of premium quality, branded pet food and pet snacks in the United States, according to its website.
